This is a plan for a complex of residence, office and exhibition space in the city center. The existing house, which stands at an angle to the site, is to be preserved and enclosed by a high wall that matches the appearance of the new building and the orangery, so that the entire site will be reconstructed as a court house with multiple gardens. The existing building is positioned as a "residence," the rooms protruding from the existing house as "offices," and the newly built annexe as an "exhibition space." By gently connecting each area through an irregularly shaped courtyard, the new and old are reconfigured as an overlapping complex.

都心に建つ住居兼オフィス兼展示場の複合体の計画。敷地内に斜めに構えて建つ特徴的な既存家屋を保存し、 新築部［オランジェリー］および新築部と外観を合わせた高い塀によって囲い込むことにより、敷地全体を複数の庭を有するコートハウスとして再生することを意図している。既存建物を「住居」、 既存家屋から突き出した部屋を「オフィス」、新築のはなれを「展示場」と位置づけ、それぞれの領域を不定形な中庭を介して緩やかにつなげることで、新と旧が重なり合う複合体として再構成した。
